Happy Father's Day

Ofcourse, it is a well-known proverb that says, “God sent mothers because he couldn’t be everywhere” and fathers? Why did God send him?  No answer? Why do we become speechless when it comes to fathers?

Fathers are always known to be the toughest members of any family and they are the ones who teach us how to survive in this rogue world. It is them who knows, what it takes to reach the pinnacle of success.  He is the one who keeps on smiling no matter the amount of pain he feels.

I recently got a job, and after spending a complete day at the office what I realized was the amount of stress you go through and that it is so unbearable. Infact, it takes so much of strength to even smile for a moment when you get back home. And it was that single day, that taught me how much my father does to keep the smiles on our faces intact. No matter however the day has gone by, he comes home with a loving and smiling face. And it makes me wonder of how easily and gracefully, he has done all of it since so long.

We as kids have a habit of taking everything for granted and our spoilers are “Our parents”. They don’t even let us know how much they struggle to provide us good food and every facility. And fathers as if they are the epitome of strength. Every time we fall, he holds our hands, I don’t mean to say that mothers don’t do so. But the difference between both of them is, one does to teach us that not every time someone will be there to help you get up, on the other hand mothers do it to show us how much they love us and that they will be there to hold us every time we are about to fall.
Fathers love us to such an extent that sometimes they are just impossible to understand and it is even more difficult to reason with them. And sometimes, they understand us without even listening a single word.

I read this quote which said, “My father never allowed me to go out for nightouts, but then he also never checked my phone. And then, I understood the difference between possessive and protective.” And as a daughter I have experienced it well enough to know the extent of my father’s love. Our fathers are often mistaken as strict and enraged because of a few actions and I don’t blame anyone. Instead, the problem lies between our understandings. About how we take their actions and how much we try to know the reason behind their different actions.

I would love to write a complete paragraph on how much I love my father, but if I were to say them in few words it would be as:
F: FOREVER WITH ME FOR EVERY THING....
A: AVAILABLE 24*7
T: THINKS BEST FOR ME
H: HERO OF MY LIFE TILL END
E: ENCOURAGES ME
R: REALLY THE ONE I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT

He takes up the responsibility of being the unreasonable one because someone needs to tell us how difficult it is to reason with everyone and how much you need to be prepared to face all the difficulties ahead in your life.

The list is unending and keeps continuing to describe words dedicating to our fathers. To end with, what I would say is if you have missed all of it, there’s still time to go and tell how much you love your father.

A Very Happy Father’s Day to you dad & to all the father’s in this world.
Lots of love,
Daughter & Son
